3 Days Event Production | Symposium + Expo, private visit to E.Marinella & Angela Srl
Symposium
Held at Villa Doria d'Angri, the Symposium followed the
signature Limitless Innovation format, supported by MoreNFT and BonusLab for media
coverage. The event brought to Naples a reflection on innovation and digital transformation across fashion and craftsmanship.
On stage, Fabrizio Rinaldi (Armani) explored the value of
innovation and growth mindset, while Davide Sgherri, Head of New Media at Dolce & Gabbana, shared his perspective on community
building through Web3 technologies. Marc Sondermann, CEO
of Fashion Magazine, together with professors from Parthenope University, discussed how Italy's fashion and
craftsmanship ecosystem is evolving from education and
professional formation to communication and storytelling.
Blake Lezenski (Outlier Ventures), Alessandro Loggi
(Co-founder of CVing), Fulvio Vinci and Francesco Moriello
(MoreNFT) enriched the dialogue with insights into digital
innovation. The Rector of Parthenope University, the City Councillor, and the Mayor of
Naples embraced the Symposium as a starting point to mark
Naples' renewed commitment to progress, research, and
development in the digital field.

E. Marinella
The Essence of
Neapolitan Craftsmanship
As part of the Naples experience, our guests were welcomed
inside the historic boutique of E.
Marinella, founded in 1914 by Eugenio
Marinella and today one of the most iconic symbols of Neapolitan
craftsmanship.
Known for its handmade ties, loved across generations and
by the British royal family, Marinella represents the
enduring elegance of Italian savoir-faire.
We were greeted by Maurizio Marinella, third generation of
the family, and Alessandro Marinella, who is carrying the
brand into the future through innovation while preserving its artisanal soul. In the
courtyard beside the original shop, we met the seamstresses, many of whom have spent their lives here,
watching the company grow and evolve. Touching the fabrics, seeing their precision, and
walking through a workshop that still feels profoundly human despite the brand's global
reach was deeply moving.
In a world where family-run fashion houses rarely endure unchanged, Marinella stands as
an exception: a story of strategic choices, sound
governance, values, and continuity that keeps the flag of true
craftsmanship flying high.
Angela Srl
The Silent Power
Behind Italian Craftsmanship
During our visit to Angela Srl, we stepped into more than a renowned leather goods manufacturer; we entered a place where fashion
is still an art form.
Led by Angela Capezzuto in a small southern town, the
company has grown into a trusted partner for luxury giants such as LVMH, Kering, and Prada.
What made this visit truly special was meeting not only the artisans crafting the finest leather pieces but also the
resident artists who collaborate on unique projects. Among
them, I had a conversation with an illustrator whose work
has been personally chosen by Maria Grazia Chiuri for Dior's iconic
foulards, each design hand-drawn by him and then reproduced on silk through
intricate printing processes. In his words and in his art,
I found a living example of how fashion is not just merely business or
innovation, but a form of storytelling - a reminder that
its greatest strength lies in its ability to be art.
Angela herself is a collector of the gifts received over
the years from the luxury houses she collaborates with. Walking through her office felt
like a guided tour through a private museum, where every piece tells a story of
collaboration, respect, and the intertwining of creativity and heritage. It was a vivid reminder that true luxury is about
more than products: it's about the people, the artistic
vision, and the creative soul that shape its identity.
Even years later, I still look back on this visit as one of the most meaningful and
transformative experiences of my journey in fashion.
A heartfelt thank you to Angela and her team for revealing the beauty of the authentic essence of Italian craftsmanship.
